I finally decided to clean my fonts folder this past week. A rather colossal task since I now have about 7000 typefaces. I was not surprised to see that I had several fonts from the Canadian designer Ray Larabie since he produced many interesting ones in the last decade. And the coolest thing is that most of those are available for free on Myfonts.com (opentype version ). Since 2001, he created the foundry Typodermic and concentrates exclusively on new commercial fonts. You can also buy them via Myfonts.com.
Personally, I used its 'Chinese Rocks' font as the principal one for the Yum Yum Extreme chips bag. The Habanero flavour's logo even use it for its base. Lately, I used the font 'Mail Ray Stuff' for Double Trouble's Madhatter. And I am sure I'm not done using his fonts!
In between the moment I wrote this post and the one when I published it on the site, Myfonts.com released a long interview with Ray Larabie. Go read it if you are bored at work...
